I've been trying out etizolam after using amphetamines during the day and I find it to be a brilliant sedative/anxiolytic, when I'm completely on edge, I take 1 or 2mg of etizolam and within about 30 minutes I'm completely calm and relaxed and feel good again. When I fall asleep on it, I seem to wake up every 2 hours though. Last night I ended up taking 6mg of it and still only got about 5 hours sleep. I've tried alprazolam and zolpidem as post stimulant sleep aids and they work brilliantly, 2mg of xanax would knock me out for 10 hours (usually I'd only need 1mg) and 10mg of zolpidem was sometimes all it took to knock me out for 12 hours straight. Is this just me or do you find this to be the case with etizolam too?
Anyone know how I can stay asleep for longer on etizolam? I want to do amps for a few days to get some serious studying and work done but I'm staying up for 24 hours (I should mention that if I slept on xanax, I usually feel like shit after the 12 hours mark, if I slept on zolpidem, I feel shit as soon as the amps kick in, but after sleeping on etizolam, the amps make me feel good for 24 hours straight) so I need to get 8 hours sleep at least. Is etizolam metabolised by the CYP3A4 enzyme that is inhibited by grapefruit juice? If so, I wonder if grapefruit juice could prolong the effects, kinda like MAOIs do with monoamine drugs. I'm thinking of taking some trazodone with it but that could be dangerous. Trazodone alone doesn't let me sleep through the night if there are amps in my system but the combo might. I also have some chloroform but theres no way I'm gonna try combining that with etizolam as it could easily be a fatal combo, plus I hear that gives bad hangovers the next day so I don't wanna risk it cuz I need to get work done tomorrow.
EDIT: I should mention that I got my etizolam pellets from a headshop. Maybe they don't really contain 1mg. However, I hear its dose equivalent to alprazolam and it sedates me just as well as alprazolam does. Kicks in much faster too.
