I was thinking.. when I've been in a psychosis I had extreme paranoid anxiety. My hypothesis is that etizolam or benzodiazepines could be given to the patient (I'm guessing high doses) to counteract the paranoia. I've seen that some mentally ill people are prescribed benzodiazepins for their anxiety, but I'm talking about daily relatively high doses of time release benzodiazepines for a week or two (with antipsychotic medication given as well) It could save people of traumatic experiences of group psychosis and making it easier to talk as well (when I was psychotic last I was so anxious(or psychotic idk) to really voice my issues.. I've been given shots of benzodiazepines which relaxed me for like 5 minutes, so for this idea to work it would have to be calculated time release benzodiazepines
Bluelight I'm asking you. Is this a good idea?
