Opioids Etizolam and Oxycodone

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I come bearing questions to introduce myself and I'd like to say hello all!
I'm from the UK and I noticed this forum is great for good opinions and advice (I've been browsing for a little while).
Anyway, on to my question.
I've recently discovered RC's, and have decided that I'm going to try a few benzos. I have never used benzos so my tolerance is absolutely 0 (I've ordered a few diclazepam, a few pyrazolam for anxiolytic effects and lots of Etilaam and Etizest to try.)

I currently use Oxycodone every day and my tolerance to opiates and opioids is pretty damn big (I'd say), as I take at least 70mg of Oxycodone a day, and it takes me around 100mg IR to nod, or oxycontins crushed. It's all legitimately prescribed, and I also take Pregabalin and Naproxen.

Now, like I said before I have a HUGE opiate tolerance as over the past few months... if it's under morphine or under strength I've tried/used it to try and get rid of the unbearable pain I was in.

ANYWAY, that's another story for another day.
My question is, I shouldn't be concerned about respiratory arrest, should I? I do not plan on taking a higher dose to nod on my oxy, just the dose I take everyday to combat the pain/the dose I NEED. I've not noticed any respiratory problems since I started using opiates many months ago.

Of course, when trying a drug of this type I will ALWAYS start low and titrate up,(better safe than sorry!) but this shouldn't be a real concern, should it?

Thanks guys, and I look forward to your replies and using the forum more :D:D

Quarter-half your usual benzo dose. Even a small dose can increase the effects quite alot.
I'd be more concerned about developing another habit if I were you.

Mind explorer, in reasonable doses I don't see anything wrong with the combination. Its different when you have no tolerance to both drugs, in which case combinations are pointless if you have the oxy.

Thank you. I'm really quite careful with my opiates and wouldn't really consider it a habit but more of a "necessity" to be honest. I quite often (if I can) will go as long as I can without taking my oxy. I usually can last about 14 hours. It sounds nothing but it's because of pain and not WD symptoms.
I'll start a quarter of a 1mg tablet and see how I feel. Thanks. How quickly does it achieve peak plasma levels, does anybody know?
Thanks.

You should worry. Combining two CNS depressants will never be "safe", no matter how much you take.

I also forgot to add that I was also on amytryptyline at night to help me sleep for a while, which is a CNS depressant (I think?). Not trying to justify or discount your warnings, just thought the more info you guys know the better :)

The timing of the benzo is not too important if you're trying to potentiate the oxy. I'd dose before the oxy.

Noo, I think I didn't say it clearly enough in the OP in what I wanted lol. My bad.
I'm not trying to potentiate my oxy, I'm trying to safely use Etizolam. My normal daily oxy use I cannot feel and it would be a waste for me to use these benzos to try and potentiate the oxy. I just want to try Etizolam safely.

People on this forum greatly exaggerate the danger of mixing CNS depressants and for good reason. Most of the people I know died while mixing an opiate and benzo. They were almost always using street heroin of unknown purity or drastically upping the dose on either or both ends with pharmaceutical opiates. If you are tolerant to oxycodone and do not up your dose while dosing a benzo responsibly (re: start at .5mg etizolam) you'll have little to worry about.

Thank you very much. Fortunately this isn't some dope I'm shooting up and I believe (hope!!! lol) that Oxycontin's are dosed properly %)%)
Like I said before. I'll start super low and err on the side of caution. I'll listen to my body. When should I know when to stop? I'm completely benzo naive so please excuse my ignorance but rather sound like a retard and be safe than assume stuff and be sorry! 8(

Also forgot to ask anyone know any decent dosages for the others or shall I just do what I'll do with the Etizolam? *Start super low and titrate up*?
