Has anybody tried Etifoxine?
I have just ingested 50mg for the first time.Does anybody have any experiences with this medication?
There is very little information on the web with regards to this drug, apart from a small wiki page which i will quote here
" Etifoxine (INN, also known as etafenoxine; trade name Stresam) is an anxiolytic and anticonvulsant drug.[3] It is used in anxiety disorders and to promote peripheral nerve healing.[4] It has similar effects to benzodiazepine drugs, but is structurally distinct and does not bind to the benzodiazepine receptor.[5] It is more effective than lorazepam as an anxiolytic, and has fewer side effects "
full link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etifoxine
What interests me is that it states it can potentiate Benzodiazepines as its does not compete for the same binding sites and also with its anti convulsant properties it should be a good medication to use alongside Tramadol which i will be using alongside this medication due to a back injury i sustained recently yet as i have a high opiate tolerance i will be using 400mg Tramadol so hopefully this alongside a benzo will minimize the risk of seizures, i also have Oxycontin but i try to use this sparingly due to increasing tolerance.
