This has recently been seen entering the RC market.

With the exception of people drinking heavily and munching ritalin and trusting it to luck, I can't find any actual reports of anybody trying this.

Any info?

No reports, but I recall some things from ADD:

It should be more selective for dopamine, particularly the d-isomer.
It also theoretically emerge in in vivo metabolism of methylphenidate + ethanol (a la cocaethylene / ethyl-cocaine), although it's unclear whether this would be stereo-specific in a way to produce mostly or solely the nearly inactive l-ethylphenidate.

ebola

Has a good affinity for the DAT, never seen it as an RC.....

I don't think it has the same cardiotoxicity as cocaethylene. Like methylphenidate it has virtually no affinity for the SERT so don't expect a nice "mood lift". Still, im sure it will get you going....

It's currently being sold as "legal crack" (8)) on the UK RC market in the rush to replace mephedrone. Has me more interested than many of this new crop of RCs purely cos my beloved MDPV got caught up in the rush to ban and this sounds to have some similarities.

^ There probably is, depends what country the OP is in.

Fuck the law, I'd rather get something tried and tested over experimental substances.

His location says England. We have no analogue laws as such... except something along those lines for phenthylamines I think (MDMA was banned in the 70s under such a thing even though it hadn't appeared on the black market here yet). Looks like we may be getting our very own version of some kinda US/Aussie analogue act pretty soon though :\

At the moment, as long as a drug isn't sold for human consumption (hence "plant food," "bath salts" and so on) it's pretty much open season as long as it's not covered under existing British drug laws. Most RCs aren't but the psyches (2C-x etc) are so swings and roundabouts.

According to Wiki Ritalin+Ethanol produces Ethylphenidate "a more potent and selective DRI than Methylphenidate"

Sure increased my booze intake when combined back in the past years-fun times, until the booze became THE problem.

I see no problem with this thread remaining open, but I just want to remind everyone to not mention any sources. If this turns into people naming sources, it will be closed and warnings will be handed out. I don't think that will happen, but I just want to remind you all so this thread will stay on track.

Thanks and carry on.

Exactly this is easy.

I'm really after any subjective experiences with this stuff? I can see on Wiki that it's probably going to resemble weak coke but without the slightly euphoric superchatty element, but the proof is really in the pudding.

Nobody? Wow...

Thx negrogesic, it does sound like it might be interesting.

Shambles: I'm beginning to regret my avoiding the MDPV. I always thought vaporizing it looked very promising in a methamphetamine sort of way.

To broaden the question a little, and I'm showing my hand a little here, a true consumer. I've not tried either but an idea occurs. I do worry that brain chemistry might slightly more complex then just pressing all three buttons at the same time, but given that Ethylphenidate's lack of SERT activity is going to really detract from the experience, if I was to take MDAI, also widely available, a drug whose activity seems to be only sertonergic, then would you maybe have a winning combination?

I'm sure the theory behind it is not nearly this simple, but in practice, could it have potential?

I haven't tried either yet..

Thats not really advisable. What you want is a super FAST acting SERT reuptake inhibitor, as opposed to a release agent if you want to mimic cocaine.

Ethylphenidate will produce euphoria, but the mood lift is not as pronounced as cocaine. There are some new fast acting SRI's like Dapoxetine, but are likely hard to find.
