The UK government has just announced that Ethylphenidate, Isopropylphenidate and 3,4-CTMP will be subject to a 12 month temporary banning order from Friday. As a result we will be ceasing the sale of Ethylphenidate, 3,4-CTMP and Isopropylphenidate from Friday 10th April

Yeah me too I have commented about this on another post. Hmmm wonder what this will bring forth!

Shame, iv only taken this twice but really enjoyed it, glad they aren't touching the benzo's :D

To be honest with you I am relatively new to this whole thing, last few months or so, not overkeen on ethy, but was appreciating ippd! My little newbie head is worrying a little about how I will know which new chems to look into!

yeah well its not the best thing to be but i am what i am :)

thing is ive screwed myself up so much with these chemicals im not to bothered to see the back of them they were just the best of a bad lot of stims

I must say, I am curious about what spin they will put on ethylphenidate in the media to make the public panic about this new demon drug that must be outlawed, while they have been feeding methylphenidate to their children for years....

Interesting times

I have only realised from the forums on here how badly the available RC stims are at the moment, maybe what comes out next is THE ONE please are waiting for! And lol kosmokrama good point! And it will be the first time I ever have an opinion on it too!

First time I have an opinio on a specific baned drug, is what I meant! I obviously have an opinion about that poor child who died at his mothers hands

... with any luck this ban will galvanise RC R&D into finding a nice fucking stim!

Five “legal highs” are set to be banned by the government.

The drugs will be made illegal from Friday 10 April for up to 12 months while the independent Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) decides whether they should be permanently controlled.
Misuse

The government accepted the ACMD’s advice to make a Temporary Class Drug Order (TCDO) on five compounds related to methylphenidate, a Class B drug, due to concerns about their misuse as new psychoactive substances (NPS).

Ethylphenidate, one of the drugs being banned, has emerged as an alternative to cocaine and is sold using the street names ‘Gogaine’ and ‘Burst’.

Users have been known to inject the drug, putting themselves at risk of blood-borne disease and infection.

To prevent users from switching to related drugs with similar harms, the ACMD recommended that the following four drugs are also banned: 3,4-Dichloromethylphenidate (‘3,4-DCMP’), Methylnaphthidate, Isopropylphenidate and Propylphenidate.
Illegal

The TCDO was published today (8 April) and the substances become illegal at 00:01 on Friday.

Once the order is in force, anyone caught making, supplying or importing the drugs will face up to 14 years in prison and an unlimited fine under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Police and border officials will be allowed to search or detain anyone they suspect of having the drugs and seize, keep or dispose of a substance they think is a temporary class drug.
