I have some tape that's stuck to my wall, and the only way I'm gonna be able to get it off is if I can make a little ether to get the sticky part off, if anybody has any suggestions on a proper recsipie, I would be more than open to accept.

I believe that there is an fairly simple extraction using starting fluid. That should give you something to search with. Sorry I don't know more than that.

Adding water to lighter fluid will cause a seperation of the petroleum ether in there. I'm not sure about using petroleum ether in what you want to do but its not the same thing as diethyl ether. They have both been used recreationally, but are definitely different.

If you can't spell recipe, you certainly don't need to have ether on your hands. It is highly flammable. This is not a how-to-make-it-board. There are other websites for that.
