Ether One

Funny you mentioned it, I was just playing it last night after setting it aside for a couple months. Kinda neat. Reminds me of those old MYST games on PC. Pretty buggy though. It's easy to get off the edge of the map and just "fall" into black space. I think I'm on the last sequence. Looking forward to seeing the end of the story since there must be some sort of weird plot twist. The plot so far is so weird I barely understand what the real narrative is.

I have like 6 games I haven't even started playing yet that were free because I'm a playstation plus member. Ether One will be the first of those I plan to finish. I'm usually too busy playing Warframe.

I'd downloaded it months ago and forgotten about it. Like you, I'm a plus member. Got a bunch still to try haha I had a try with Ether last night as I was bored of gta v. It reminded me of Doom and Tomb Raider kinda.

I found it very easy to get lost. But that's maybe just me haha
It's quite hooky though, kept me entertained for a few hours until I got pissed that I couldn't work out where the actual fuck I was meant to go haha

I think it has potential. It got very good ratings if I remember rightly.

Never heard of it, I will look into this one. You know what game should have come out for the ps4? The new Killer Instinct! So pissed only the xbox one got it man...

Yeah I got it for free also on ps4, and I played it for maybe two hours.

To be brutally honest I found the game terribly boring, the story was incredibly complicated. I was like " WTF is going on?!?" for most of my playtime.

I guess one day I may give it a second chance aND attempt to play it again.

I guess it's just not really my kind of game.

I mean the game itself isn't great. It's actually pretty shoddily made. I'm almost at the end and I still barely understand the story. The reason I give it a passing grade is:

1. It's free
2. It has a nostalgic feel to it and reminds me of the old MYST-like PC games.
