A about an hour ago I was accidentally exposed to low moderate concentrations of ethyl acetate vapors. Mistakes were made; should have used a fume hood, should have had other people around because my nose is plugged and I can't smell etc. I've obviously read the MSDS and understand it can act on the CNS which isn't a surprising considering the similarity to ethers.

I don't want to make a fuss about it here at school and look like a total moron. I thought volatile organics had very short durations in terms of effects; yet I am still feeling quite woozy more then an hour after exposure. Is this likely something I can wait out or do I need to get some help?

I'm not a solvent huffer or anything, I would just like to try and get some feedback rather then making an ass of myself.

BL is here to give advice on recreational drug use. If you've been exposed to an industrial chemical and are feeling ill, you should seek medical help ASAP. There's not really anything else that I can advise.

This is a very foolish and naive attitude to have.
