Esomeprazole Potentates Valium

The wikipedia page you linked says "Esomeprazole is a competitive inhibitor of the enzymes CYP2C19 and CYP2C9, and may therefore interact with drugs that depend on them for metabolism, such as diazepam and warfarin; the concentrations of these drugs may increase if they are used concomitantly with esomeprazole", basically that is saying if you use diazepam on Nexium/Esomeprazole then the effects of the diazepam will be increased. Generally speaking on Bluelight this would probably be considered a good interaction. However if one was using diazepam as prescribed for anxiety and combined the two drugs unaware of the interaction, there is a possibility the experience could be overwhelming or render them too sedated to go about their daily tasks, in this case it could be considered a negative interaction.

I believe Footscrazy posted a thread some time ago saying that she subjectively felt esomeprazole potentiated codeine, and possibly diazepam as well iirc.
