Hi everyone,
New member here. I have a question about ER visits. Are they tracked? I went into the ER tonight with cancer related pain. Long story short I told the ER doc I was having break thru pain and my norco wasn't helping. I also felt like I had an infection. After waiting four hours in the waiting room and two in the room, the nurse finally came in and just have me another norco and a script for antibiotics. I am still in horrible pain and want to go into another ER close to me to get some relief. I don't want a script just need some break thru relief. I don't want to look like a drug seeker, will they know about my visit tonight? I know doctors can look up what narcotics you've had filled, bit I'm wondering what other info they have? Years ago I went to a hospital out of town by my family and they knew about another visit I had previously at another hospital. How? Thanks for any response

I know in the state of CT they are networked. Or at the very least if you have insurance they can track you threw that.

I'm in Illinois. I'm just so frustrated that my pain wasn't addressed, especially after waiting so long in agony, which I'm still in. Thank you

Sorry to hear that blows. I would really stress the cancer pain. Do they have medical marijuana in Illinois? I hear that is good for cancer pain?
