ER 80mg oxy question

So I have an okay tolerance to opiates. I normally take 30mg (10x3 Percocet) at one time and 50-60mg per day (sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less..) I'm prescribed painkillers for breakthrough pain but I've never really taken more than 20-40mg of ER release Oxy. My friend recently gave me an 80mg pill of the extended release oxy.. Anyway my question is: CAN I take the entire 80mg pill safely? I know little of how the ER works (my impression was that SOME is released first..maybe 30% and than the rest of the course of 12 hours..)

i took a whole 80 when i had a tolerance like you but it fucked me up hella good

Be careful and make sure you eat food with it. They can mess with your stomach.

Thanks guys - I ended up taking it because I remembered I had taken 60 before with no ill effects.

I did eat with it Took it an hour or two ago and feel a little buzzed but nothing extreme. I always get conflicting information on how much is actually released and how they work so I just wanted to make sure I was on the safe side.

I assume it was an OP just by the fact that old school 80's are nearly impossible to find these days

Yes it was the extended release - dark green(ish) pill with OP stamped on the other side. Not instant release (totally impossible to find)

Totally impossible to find? There definetly around your area you just have to look hard enough

Well yeah I'm sure, I'm just super lazy and don't really feel like seeking them out. It was gifted to moi : ) It worked as expected. No "rush" but mild and lasted for quite some time.

I normally use poppy tea or morphine (about 60mgs orally) and just took 60mgs crushed oxycontin within couple hours and am not impressed, I thought this stuff was potent. Do I have a tolerance i'm not aware of?
