I picked a few I think actually sound epic. Any music you think sounds epic?

https://youtu.be/bP00vDfeIl4 - Twist of Fate
https://youtu.be/hKRUPYrAQoE - Two Steps From Hell - Victory
https://youtu.be/izsjRpcgfmk - Empire of Angels, Sun
https://youtu.be/jERdloSRJEw - A Lannister Always Pays His Debts
https://youtu.be/hyPeaQXYoaY - Beyond The Blue Sky
https://youtu.be/qr3uhFQcFHA - Nothing Left To Lose
https://youtu.be/I4ArKr6W8YM - Dead V
https://youtu.be/95ghfm0vlrs - Last Reunion
https://youtu.be/hosCuzo6JKo - Blood Red Roses
https://youtu.be/_ZOgsWyiyDE - Hymn of Newerth

It probably doesn't sound as epic these, these are really the only ones worth listening to and calling epic at the same time.

They should be called epic because the motif of the whole song sounds kind of like epic in a song. I don't think any of these are the most epic song, it's that they sound "epic".

/\ Pretty cool. Reminds me slightly of Haggard...

How about some straight up classical? Depending on what you define as epic I feel this fits the bill...

I must say, wow! Just wow! A thread with posts like these were one of the last things that I expected to find here at Bluelight!
Just moments ago I completed my registration to the forums, and this would be my very first post. After much browsing, I thought...why not dive into an artistic thread!
Pardon my blabbing. -_- My point was to say your taste in music is..MUAH! Perfecto! You've definitely picked an amazing selection of epic classical, instrumental, score-esque tracks here.
I must have music such as this rhythmically intertwining it's potent melodies into my skull, ESPECIALLY when experiencing the altered states. I MUST!!! O_O

But for reals, I can truly say that music, particularly music of the genre you have selected here, has been with me through every step of my pharmacologically influenced life for many, many years.
The two facets just seem to go hand in hand.

Well, I'll shut it about here, though, I did want to contribute something for my first post!
I must exert some positive effort whilst I sit here, eyes glued to the screen, fingers dancing across the keyboard during the last...eh, four..maybe sixish hours that are left of my Adderall binge. *sigh*
Here's to three days filled with lessons, many the first I've learned regarding the aforementioned stim. Anyway...Cheers MajorBong, and all who trudge these same canals of experience!

Following your direction, here are just two favorites of mine that I thought might fit here. Enjoy!

https://youtu.be/mLUguXpUIb0?list=RDmLUguXpUIb0 - Archangel (Two Steps From Hell)
https://youtu.be/mfW4pefWaiI - Battle of Kerak, (Kingdom of Heaven - Harry Gregson-Williams)
https://youtu.be/2VGpWIQzFuw - Question of Purpose (Thomas-Adam Habuda) ...apologies for continued edits, but I just made this discovery via one of your linked songs (MajorBong). Good stuff imo.

Slower than most of the offerings above, but epic indeed:

^Very much so. Bought that CD in my late teens and it was, and is still, indeed, epic! ;)

''jovial (adj.)
1580s, "under the influence of the planet Jupiter," from Middle French jovial (16c.), from Italian joviale, literally "pertaining to Jupiter," and directly from Late Latin Iovialis "of Jupiter," from Latin Iovius (used as genitive of Iuppiter) "of or pertaining to Jupiter," Roman god of the sky (see Jove). The meaning "good-humored, merry," is from the astrological belief that those born under the sign of the planet Jupiter are of such dispositions. Related: Jovially.''

Jupiter is wicked in both hi-brow and low-brow, aspects!

and this,

both disconcerting and slightly, fabulous ;)

Well, now 'Question of Purpose' is just beautiful.
Very beautiful.

Perhaps, you may like this...very distressing video/visuals;very powerful melody. Very special in terms of highlighting the dark side of society.

As epic as it gets for me. Hans Zimmer really surprised me with this amazing symphony. So great, powerful!
