I had a bag which within 2-3 lines produced a very blocked nose with loads of mucus and some blood. I didn't even really feel a coke high and the low you get 20-30mins later. After an hour or so it really starts to hurt.

Starting to doubt if it was actually anything at all, I picked up some ez tests for purity and cuts.

The cuts test didn't seem to react much, but it did get a bit darker. The original colour of the mix is quite close to the result for ephedrine but it's hard to tell if that's the result.

As for the purity I was expecting no reaction or very low. To my surprise it tested very high (very dark brown). So surprised that I repeated the test another two times with 20mg exactly as per guidelines, still very high content.

So it is cocaine, and this result suggests the purity could even be higher than 80%. But, does ephedrine cause such problems for the nose? I'm thinking either ephedrine or something else not covered on the test is producing such a fast onset and amount of mucus that it's preventing the proper insufflation and absorbtion of cocaine.

I closed this because we don't allow substance ID questions but I missed your ephedrine question.
Reopened, but please keep questions focused on ephedrine only... we can't speculate on what is in your cocaine.

If you could edit your post so it's clear your question is solely about what ephedrine is like when snorted and what it does to your nose (etc), that would be great. If this thread turns into speculation on the substance or cuts, I will have to close it again.

Closed... substance ID.

Cocaine is a nasal decongestant too, so whatever is in your bag isn't coke. EZ-tests are not foolproof indicators.
