Well, I'm not sure if this should go in here or the health forum, so I'll just post here... no flames about this, please.
Saturday was a boring day. I had nine dollars left, not enough for marijuana (atleast not in the quantities I smoke), so my friend comes over and he's like, "Got drugs?" He's been clean for about six months now, so I start with the attempt to keep him from them... like he made me promise. He quickly corrected me and told me he was asking if I needed anything... of course, I jumped out of my seat and asked the usual plethora of questions, "<i>Who? What? How Much? Where?</i>" When I heard 99 cents, I damn near jumped to the ceiling. It was legal ephedrine... with a nice little dose of Guifansen. Two hundred mg to be exact. I thought I could have handled it, and normally, I would have... but this time, I made a big mistake. I ate... and puked.. A LOT. Here's where my concern comes in.
I got home about an hour later, very stoned since we went and smoked with a friend after I puked. I got up, left the car, ascended the stairs to my apartment, and walked in. The ephedrine had left me but that unmistakable body buzz was still there. VERY pleasant, might I add. I walked into the kitchen where my mom was and she started talking to me. I went blind... but not truly blind... it was like blacking out for a few seconds and having HEAVY CEVs with my eyes opened. This lasted about 5 seconds. When my vision returned, I was left very winded and lightheaded so I quickly excused myself, went to my room, sat down, and everything got better. I got up later to get a drink, she started talking to me again, and this time it happened for roughly 30-35 seconds, my vision came back, and then it left AGAIN... only to return AFTER I stumbled back into my room... Jesus, man! Anyway, the question I'm asking is: Does anyone know what the hell this was? This never happened to me when I took meth, and I know there's ephedrine in that. Could it have somehow been the Guifansen?
