Ephedrine and Hydrocodone

Im going to a family party tomorrow and do not want to drink, so i figure id use some of my vics. I want to have the euphoria associated with opiates, but do not want to nod. Does anyone think a low dose of ephedrine would be safe with about 25mg of hydrocodone?

Ill be potentiating with cimetidine and dxm. Would that effect the ephedrine dosage at all, either? Thanks for any input!

I'm not familar with hydro but I am with eph [when I was a UK res ] and over the course off the last few years it turned to shite. If hydrocodone is a strong opiate and lets say you knock back a few beers the eph probably won't do it ,maybe take your eph with you and top up if needed.....I'd drink anyhow then if you nod everyone will just say you are a lightweight drinker ,no biggie.

By the way I have a big ritalin thread and I was looking for that drug word 'cimetidine ' so thank you.

Yes. You'll be fine with that. I'd stick to the hydrocodone and ephedrine and avoid the alcohol though

Is that what would be called a poor man's "Speedball"? I haven't used ephedrine in a long time but I remember it being a pretty potent OTC amphetamine. I would think it could overpower the hydro unless you take enough for it to compete with the ephedrine.

I would skip the ephedrine. The DXM-hydrocodone combo is actually pretty stimulating. 60-80 mg DXM is the optimal potentiating dose. Although I normally use cimetidine with my hydro or oxy, I would also skip it in this particular case. The problem with cimetidine is that it inhibits the liver enzyme (CYP2D6) which is responsible for metabolizing DXM to DXO. DXO is basically what does the job. I would use grapefruit juice instead, it mostly inhibits the enzyme CYP3A4, the one you need to inhibit to maximize opioid exposure.

If youre a daily user and have tolerance to opiates then yes,take the hydros,potentiate them for better results and add the ephedrine if you feel that it will produce a "speedbally" effect.

Although if you use recreationally once in a while i believe youll get pretty fucked up with this mix and prolly everybody will be able to tell...
