Entrapment

you can tell an undercover user... he's the cop with his shirt untucked....

And the bulge of their shoulder holster is usually a dead giveaway

Maybe they do have to say yes if asked if they are a police officer.

What would happen if i was in sincere trouble, needed a cop and i asked them if they were one. If they say no, then they would be turning their back on the public.

or i just could be speaking shit again..... :\

interesting point... i know that it is against the law for a doctor to abandon injured/critically ill people in emergency situations. Or to omit treatment.
I woner what laws apply to police??

Good point guys... I wonder what an undercover who's "in" with a huge drug ring does when they see someone getting beaten up, or worse? Do they blow their cover to help the person? Do they watch the kid get decked? What if guns/knives get involved...

I guess it'd come down to the situation. Weigh up losing the bust/what'll happen to the person. I'd expect they'd blow their cover to stop someone getting shot/stabbed/raped...

^No, havn't you ever watched 'Stingers' ;)
