entering hyperspace: experiences with ayahuasca or salvia

Salvia is very hit or miss with me. I have had great experiences on it, but I've also had total ego

death and terrible trips on it probably due to my environment at the time. Personally I would

have to say salvia is for experienced trippers. I dont find it recreational. I also do not like the

extreme strange pressure it puts on your body. Just my two sense.

^^^ I have also heard similar reports from close mates who have tripped on Salvia stoneydaze

- basically that they can be quite uncomfortable, complete ego loss trips, I have also heard stories of DMT being completely loss of everything, ego and so on, but the DMT trips can sometimes be beautiful and more enjoyable compared to salvia? (with the mysterious female appearing and so on)

Just drawing parralells here but could a DMT breakthrough experience change a full on Saliva trip in the same way dropping an E while in the mist of a full LSD trip can change the that experience to a new one altogether?????

Probably not.. but I guess I'm fishing for some first hand experiences with the two combined??

Is there anybody out there...?

^^ I only use the term "candyflipping" as reference as most people call the combination of LSD and MDMA "candyflipping" and will know of it to be a combination that is a marrige made in heaven so to speak.

So I would hardly call that immature.

Anyways as you have not stated that you have combined Saliva and DMT at the same time personally, so then I find your condemnation of the idea of actually doing it... ridiculous.

How do you know you might not have serious breakthough on a deeper level then once experiened? You only know what you might think will happen.

Mate... doesn't

Speaking from personal experience, this is a stupid idea, and if you are currently living without regret, you soon will be.

Mean I have experienced it? Ridiculous? Perhaps try the combo out for yourself and see how deeply spiritual it is.

FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (meaning I have done it once, and once only), it did not take me to a deeper state of consciousness, it took me to one of terror, fear and total unpleasantness. If I could compare it to something, I would compare it to dying (I assume that's how it would feel). All I can say is I was thankful to have a caring partner with me throughout the trip, which lasted for around 9 hours and I had OEV for the next two days.

Have fun.

I just watched a really interesting documentary about an ethno-botanist who travels into the Peruvian Amazon to search out ayahuasca and the shamans. He also trips on toad venom. the weird relations between the different white people is almost as interesting as the subject matter.

Also, anyone who has travelled to the amazon and can give me more info about shamans and traditional use of psychedelics within south america plus post some info in this thread.
