Before the cavernous dawn of deep time
In a hole no bigger than a thumb
Formed a glowing ball of light
And a steady energy hum
Enveloped by blackness
Its waves were felt
Flowing synergy escaped its breadth
Forged by the brimming hands of Deity
White diamond tendrils paused and left
Smoke, fire, gaseous symmetry
Pierced the blackness life bereft
Enter the explosion felt round all universe
Rocked time, rocked space
Rocked life, rocked race
Rocked existence
Its aftermath was both glorious eternal and
seized reality
like a skilled savage plucks the beating heart
from his prey and holds it to the sky in
terrible awed silent reverent revelry.
