I know what you mean. I had Viduka in my original lineup; tempted to go for Martins now but no doubt if I do, Viduka will score. Decisions decisions.
 
Tis good if you're a newcastle fan like me though, so many attacking options. :D Think I may go for both of them if i can afford it, and transfer Taylor.
 
Wait at least until the next gameweek before transferring as N'Castle aren't playing in this midweek gameweek...

I was seriously tempted to put in Malouda as well... but then went with the strong lineup that got me up there towards the end of last season...

It's not a full round? My idiocy continues, I subbed out a player for someone who isn't playing this week.

Oh well, at least the Rooney injury means my secret weapon Tevez (a snip at 8.5 mill) will get plenty of games :D

yeah I got caught out last year in the second round... scored fuck all then, so I made sure to check if the same was going to happen this time, and lo and behold, because of champions league qualies or UEFA Cup qualies or Intertoto Cup or something or other happening this week it is only a partial gameweek, I think there are only 3 games postponed, but I've managed to almost put up a full squad... it will be full if Hargreaves actually plays :\
 
I decided to use my wildcard already. I figured Ill try and avoid having alot of ineligible players the next time there is a small game week.

I'm going to try and keep my wildcard til later in the season when I might really need it... I used it in week 3 last year, which was a result of me not really knowing all that much about the system, and the specific players in the EPL... but now... it's all go for launch!!

Yeah I know, but the player prices didn't move at all for the first few days, and even now only a few players changed by 0.1. Usually the prices move a lot faster and not just a few players. I think they must have changed the pricing system? Maybe the prices won't change so quickly this season..?

I completely agree... and what with Berbatov getting injured, and Hargreaves not actually making it into the Man U squad and my backup goalie getting injured, and a couple of my subs not actually getting games either, this forced my hand and I had to use my wildcard... fucking annoying... was going to save it til later, but with up to 5 players not actually playing I had no choice...

hopefully it will all work out for the best :)

Ive had a pretty poor start to the season.
Just had to do a double-transfer this week.
Sent Berbatov to the glue factory. He was going to be axed from my team anyway for under-achieving.
 
i, too, hit "finalize squad" or whatever it was, to erm, finalize my squad before i was ready! :D now i'm stuck with what are pretty good players, but all of them are playing against each other! trying to maximize my points here! :) i managed to unknowingly secure a bunch from the dream team squad so maybe i'll rack up a few points from this fixture.

another week another 4 points sacrificed for a double-sub. Lots of injured players. Thought about using my wildcard but didn't.
 
i've got to make my picks tonight....was just waiting till the last possible second and news of injuries before the games tomorrow. not too shabby my first gameweek ~50 or 52 points i think? :)
 
was a bit late joining the league this year, wasnt using bluelight so didnt have the joining code.
glad i found it though as i jumped straight in to top of the league, hopefully ill stay there for the whole season
