Drug busts happen within the Military-Industrial complex.

(Reuters) - A federal drug bust on Thursday at a Boeing plant that makes military aircraft resulted in charges against 37 people, authorities said.

U.S. Attorney Zane David Memeger said 23 people were charged with selling the prescription painkiller Oxycontin and other illegal drugs and 14 were charged with attempted possession of various drugs for trying to buy them.

^I've seen people busted for "conspiracy to possess", which is essentially calling a dealer and asking him what he's up to.
 
Whenever I get bummed out about US drug laws I read up on the UAE's laws and feel a lot better. lol. In some places in the world it is crime to be under the influence of a controlled substance. They find it in your blood, hair, etc bam you get a charge.

Apparently, the guys who were found to be "distributors" are facing anywhere between 10 and 250 years. Man, when will they realize that they can send messages all day long and people are still going to follow the profit motive all the way to the Actiq lollipops? All they are causing is more suffering and no one is learning anything.
 
I once read about a girl that got 10 years for conspiracy to sell lsd soley because her boyfriend was an lsd dealer and she had knowledge of it but didn't rat him out to the cops.

Sure makes getting up and going to work every day much easier as I refuse to dose myself until I am sitting at my desk ready to start work.

I basically walk into work in W/D every day.

it all makes perfect sense, expressed in dollars and cents (pink floyd). the economic situation as is supports an inflated and bloated quality of life for americans, and this balloon is kept bloated in part by all of our unnecessary wars and drug wars and other macro-economic factors that don't really make sense on a local scale (except when one is looking for a reason to get pissed at your neighbors).
 
I got sentenced to 2 years in Texas prison for TELLING somebody who had some dope for sale. I never saw the dope, I never touched the dope, I made zero commission on the sale. I benefited absolutely nothing from THEIR drug deal, except for serving prison time. An undercover cop OVERHEARD me tell the guy . So basically, I got sent to prison for talking . They called the original charge "constructive delivery" . I pleaded to a lesser charge of possession, although i was never in possession of anything . THANKS PUBLIC DEFENDER !
