so pretty much i was wondering: if i put coffee in my bong is there anyway the caffeine particles would stick to the THC particles coming through them? So that way i can wake and bake plus drink coffe at the same time8o

The boiling point of caffeine is 178C, while the bp of thc is 157C. The flame of a normal bic lighter goes up to about 1300-1900C (believe it or not) so . . . theoretically it could work.

That might be crazy enough to be a good idea.

Give it a whirl, I don't know how good it will taste though, nor do I know how well coffee will burn with a flame.

I mean don't get me wrong it sounds kinda nasty just reading it but it might end up being very nice. I could see how the rush of smoked caffeine might combine VERY well with the rush of some good weed first thing in the morning. I used to love to smoke after drinking coffee so that the weed would kick in with the coffee, made it feel more up and energized (duh!).

The other issue is how much coffee do you need? Caffeine, IIRC, is well absorbed in the body, so think of how much ground coffee you use to make a standard cup. You'd have to smoke probably almost that much, certainly not less than half, to get a good inhaled caffeine buzz. That seems like a lot of coffee to burn, to the point that you'd have to smoke a lot of weed with it (like a LOT) which might very well overpower any caffeine effects, or make you imagine them when they're not there.

I think the best way to go here would be to roll spliffs, preferably with rolling tobacco, with weed and coffee in them. You probably won't be putting too much weed in these and you'll probably need about three of them.

no, i ment putting liquid coffee in the part where the water is supposed to go.and then smoke weed so that the smoke goes throught the liquid coffee

Nah, I don't think that would work.

Chemists can weigh in here but even if THC and caffeine had some affinity for eachother I very much doubt you'd inhale enough caffeine to feel anything, and there's no way the water would get hot enough to vaporize the caffeine.'

But meh go ahead and try it right? Nothing to lose, and if nothing else it might taste nice, or at least interesting.
 
Smoking caffine is worthless.

The active dose of caffine is on th 50-200mg level. I'm sorry, that's just too damned much of a foul-tasting alkaloid to have to take in as vapor. It wouldn't work if you smoked coffee in a bong, btw, because the caffine would dissolve in the water. One _could_ smoke it out of a pipe, but FFS, it would taste awful, and you'd be smoking so many bowls to feel the caffine, it would be ridiculous.

Drink the coffee, smoke the bong.

HOw do you know though? Have you ever smoked coffee?

lol who knows Imight try throwing some coffee grounds in my next cig just for the hell of it, see how it tastes.
 
I've smoked (vaped rather) pure caffeine. Horrid taste, no buzz whatsoever from what i was able to smoke. Would not repeat.

No, using coffee as bongwater will not get you any extra energized or change the high at all. That's a terribly thought out idea. This idea is VERY stonerish of you :) But I'm not saying you shouldn't try it. Have fun.
 
hahahaha, well you could always give it a go but i'm just trying to imagine your bong afterwards. It would smell awful, be hard to clean out and probably make your bud taste terrible. Give it a go though, i'd be interested in seeing what effects it has.
 
I once put Listerine in my bong thinking it would mask the smell and give it a nice minty flavor. SERIOUSLY bad idea. The smoke was so harsh and screwed up my throat. Weed will compell a person to do retarded things sometimes.
 
WEIRD! I had this same thought today as well. Just not the part about THC molecules sticking to the caffeine molecules. hahaha try it and post how it went and how it tasted. I'll be back.

A single drop of peppermint oil does that nicely. But be careful, pure peppermint oil is very strong!!




As for the original question, smoke the weed. Save the coffee for the cotton mouth!!
