Does anyone know of info, literature, or anecdotes regarding a link between people who have survived endocarditis and those who later have heart attacks at a relatively early age?

I believe it would significantly weaken your heart muscles, and there may be risk for IV drug users who have contracted simple bactremia or sepsis as well, as it affects all your systems.

I certainly can't imagine anything positive resulting from endocarditis at an early age. I'll look into this, you micron every shot right? I can't imagine that the particulate matter in the bloodstream of most IV drug users helps their heart or kidneys much, and I wonder what role the particulate matter plays in cardiac problems.

I hope you're filtering every single shot, I don't care what other people have to say whining about $4 a shot, you can get them for cheaper than this and if you can't put the $ together to filter a shot correctly you'd best find a new ROA, something you should be doing anyways. <3

I'm no longer shooting druhhhgs. But yeah, gotta always micron. Mostly for your lungs, though.

No particulates are getting stuck in the heart, the vessels are huge. I can only imagine bacteria significantly contributing to a decline in muscle tone or an increase in plaque, you are never going to have a bunch of particulates piling up like in a cholesterol commercial or anything...

Yeah I'm not so worried about particulates getting stuck in your heart, per se, but if there is plaque who knows, maybe it could stick to it, I don't know what cholesterol looks or feels like.

My lungs.... would love me more if I could completely stop smoking, this is ten times harder than quitting IV for me.
