i thnk the proper question is how similar is it to methamphetimines. is it close in structure?

Structurally they are similar. That doesnt mean much though. Ephedrine is structurally similar to meth but the effects of both are significantly different.

They're very similar in structure. The only difference is that methamphetamine has a methyl group (CH3) on the nitrogen that amphetamine doesn't (hence the name).

Um, Adderall is a mix of amphetamines -
Dextroamphetamine Saccharate, Amphetamine Aspartate, Dextroamphetamine Sulfate, and Amphetamine Sulfate....
You could have found that out on rxlist.com or any numbe of sites...
