Empty Effexor XR Capsules

I was prescribed Effexor XR, but decided not to take it. I'm running low on Adderall XR, so I was wondering if it would be safe/effective to divide the Adderall XR beads from each capsule in half and put them into the Effexor XR capsules.

as long as the effexor cap is empty first? Yeah it'll be fine.

Not trying to be clever, but why did you decide not to take the Effexor?
Did the same doctor prescribe both drugs?

Yeah he wanted to substitute it out for Paxil because he thought it would help more with depression. When I read the side effects and numerous horror stories related to Effexor I was like there's no way I should be taking this.

u can use ANY empty capsule to put adderall into, they are basically just "cups" as you will, that hold medicine into, make sure all effexor is out of them however.
