I thought this is an interesting question to pop and hear people's opinions about.

Would you say that emphatogens have benefited you emotionally/psychologically more than psychedelics or vice versa, why would you say one class of substances was more beneficial than the other?

They've both benefitted me immensely. I feel as though MDMA helped me with finding peace within myself and others. It feels like it heals the surface, as if it healed scars. Psychedelics helped me interpret and understand the world and myself differently. This allowed me to essentially "mould" my personality and beliefs to what I find ideal. It also gave me a fresh perspective on life and put "life" into my life.

Both have helped me with depression, and especially social anxiety/generalized anxiety. MDMA helped me initiate the healing process, I believe due to it being what I did first, and psychedelics welded what I learned to my psyche.

I suppose it depends on what kind of therapy you need. Couples therapy would definitely benefit from MDMA, while LSD or mushrooms would be more conducive to individuals simply looking to better themselves.

PTSD victims would probably lean more towards MDMA, there is much less room for things to go wrong than there is with a strong psychedelic. Personally I have found MDA to be extremely introspective and therapeutic when used alone, but there is an extreme urge to share your experiences with someone who would understand.
