Eminem discussion

If anyone knows any awesome rare Eminem songs that would be dope.

Rated E posted some great songs, but id also recommend buying his "Raw & Uncut" and also his debut album "Infinite"

Some of his best songs are found on those albums imo.

I'm liking the Bad Meets Evil EP that Slim and Royce just released. It seems like Em has returned to his wittier days with the complex rhyme schemes that attracted me to his music when I first heard Slim Shady LP and Infinite. Some of the hooks are weak but the verses are monstrous. However, I gotta say that Royce comes off as a more wicked MC on almost every track.

Bad Meets Evil - "Fast Lane"
Bad Meets Evil - "A Kiss"
Bad Meets Evil - "I'm on Everything"

I've been looking forward to this because Royce is a great rapper, and if Em was going to be on tracks with him, it would make sense that he would adjust his style to be more like his old days. I can't imagine him rapping like he has been lately alongside Royce. It just wouldn't work.

that's great to hear.

the new eminem and royce is the best album eminem has put out since marshall mathers lp. i wasn't a huge fan of eminem show and after that it's mostly garbage up till this. encore relapse and recovery each had a few dope tracks but mostly trash.

I used to like Em alot like ALOT but after his last 2 or 3 albums he just changed to much what made him original is gone. I saw him at bonnaroo and just thought damn this is awful. Its like without the drugs he just an angry rich guy rapping about stupid shit. Like recovery besides the songs about getting off drugs what was his message? where is the substance? Listen to the Slim Shady LP then listen to Recovery its not even in the same league. He should quit and produce or make movies or whatever before all people remember him for is 8 mile or god forbid Lighters

^ Thank goodness Lighters sounds really out of place on Hell: The Sequel.

I listened to the album and I was impressed. That symbol guy (R|\skfj/I] or whatever) was right; some of the choruses are cheesey, but pretty much every verse is tight. Em is spitting in the style that I liked him for in the first place, and Royce has always been great.

more commercial maybe, but more accessible i reckon.

What kind of pussy ass white boy lives in the D and OD's on Vicodin?

Oh wait, Eminienm does.

He used to be fuckin legit, he may as well move to Orange County at this point

My impression of him is that he's basically a decent, conscientious guy with a lot of demons, but that he's not how he appears to be, or how his public image portrays him.

Drugs involved...amped up he comes across as a superman, neo-nazi, alpha-male. Sober, rather nervous, insecure and quite lacklustre. Whatever drugs he was on really made his career as far as being a hero to young males (and lust-object for females).

A genius word-master though.
