Embedding youtube videos on permitted forums with Android smartphone

Hi Team,

I used to post on one of the electronic music forums here (embedding is still permitted in the forum), but now I am using my Android smartphone and I'm not sure how to embed YouTube videos. Per instructions I found in one of the threads I tried to wrap the address with [ video ] address [ /video ] , to no avail. Please assist.

That should still work. For example.

[vide0]www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Xd8rZzWmmc[/video]

Are you using the mobile version or the desktop on your phone/tablet? If you're on the desktop version, have you tried the video embed button in the reply tools and adding the link there instead of writing out [video] etc?

You probably have tried all this, I'm just clutching at straws...

I have tried both the desktop (full site) version and the mobile version. Also tried the video icon in the reply tools as you suggested. Thanks for the help though.

I posted my question on another thread and the someone figured it out : )
e link needs to be of this format: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1234567, so in your links, you need to replace the 'm.' with 'www.', so http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1234567 becomes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1234567. That should work. The 'm.' is a mobile link and doesn't work for embedding on vbulletin apparently
