So I have come across small yellow capsules that say "Embeda" and "20". According to what I have looked up it is made up of morphine sulfate and naltrexone hydrochloride. So if this can be recreationally used, how many of these should I take? I got 5. I am somewhat opiate tolerant. Any other knowledge or experiences on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Apokolypse, welcome to Bluelight.

Embeda is morphine sulfate/naltrexone - so an opiate agonist and an antagonist. It's extended release form - in your case, it's 20 mg morphine sulfate/0.8 mg naltrexone.

For information on Embeda go here. It should have all the answers to your questions.

I'm not sure how you should take it, but I don't think there is much recreational value in these since there's an opioid antagonist mixed in with the morphine. If you have a tolerance to opioids, these pills might even put you in a state of opioid withdrawal.

Anyone else have any useful information or experience with these pills to share with the OP?

They took embeda off the market in the US recently.

OP, if you have any experience with morphine, it is the same thing, but it takes a lot longer to kick in, so a higher dose is needed to feel the same effects. Morphine is considered to be one of the less recreational opiates, especially when taken orally. We would need more input as to your current tolerance to give a more accurate dosage suggestion.

I agree with V that is sucks. It is only good for pain when taken consecutive days and has a chance to build up in your system.
