Elon Musk officially buys Twitter, DONE DEAL !

He didn't nullify an offensive by Ukraine? In their own internationally recognized territorial waters?
If you owned a majority position in a satellite company, should the government be able to force you to do things with that company that you don't want to do?

No. He specifically said the satellites weren't active so there wasn't anything to nullify
Turned the satellites off when needed, didn't he?
So, an American business can decide when and where to provide services to our allies to give aid and comfort to the enemy? You're really OK with that?

how long does fuck you money last when you tell a major revenue stream to go fuck themselves?

i kind of get the he-says-what-he-wants fanboy thing but "owning the..." whatever doesn't seem like a successful long term business strategy.

Honestly idk how valuable Disney advertising is to a company like X/Twitter

Disney has been hemorrhaging money for years now. They've completely ruined their most valuable IPs, marvel, Star Wars, etc... their park sales are down, shutting down resorts, etc.

im not a huge Elon fanboy or anything but I do enjoy seeing someone tell a corporation as big as Disney to fuck off

Oh , you mean like telling your entire film fan base to fuck off like Disney has for the last few years ? You're quite right, it really hasn't worked out that great for the House of Mouse ! You play stupid games. you win stupid prizes...

maybe. but that has nothing to do with elon's behavior.

only time will tell what happens but he seems to make significant business decisions on a whim.

maybe he'll make billions. or maybe he'll end up having wasted $44 billion just to make a point.

he has a lot of money. he does not have an endless supply.

that's said, twitter was a leveraged buy out. other people stand to lose too if he drives it into the ground.

Internet brain rot can strike at even the uppermost echelons of wealth and power, if the last few years have taught us nothing else it’s that

watch him turn it into a paypal / cashapp / venmo.

what would he offer that those apps don't?

they're all pretty entrenched - paypal has been around 25 years and has over 400 million users.

i'm not sure how involved musk still is but he's not been involved in active management since 2000.
