I was surfin' the chemical waves and came across ethnobotanicals and I came accross this little bottle, actually 3 amber vials. Actually Called elemi Oil. It's something natural and psychedelic and something i will try for my first time and I wonder......


MXE Binge plus elemi oil....=D



Anyone want to converse about it...??.
 
It's a deleriant similar to nutmeg or its isolates. Active compound is probably elemicin.

Not really worth it except as aromaterapy.
 
I'm on 36 drops right now, I was on 35 three days ago and it was a colorful experience that knocked me on my ass, so I expect something similar this time. Especially with some weed it really comes out :D
 
Is this really an active chemical? How would you take it? I thought it was an oil for the skin? Thanks

essential oils are usually too potent for direct application to the skin; usually they are heavily diluted for massage use.

as far as elemi oil goes, it has elemicin in it, which (in theory) is related to TMA via the biological amination route hypothesized in Shulgin's studies on the "essential amphetamines" from PIHKAL.

despite a complete lack of evidence for the production of TMA (or MMDA in the case of nutmeg oil) in the body, there are numerous reports of people enjoying "trippy evenings like a mild LSD or mescaline trip". (see DMT-nexus)

personally I have no input on the veracity of any trip claims. but there is an interesting thread about nutmeg combined with black pepper that reportedly "causes a positive amphetamine test" with markedly different subjective effects than nutmeg alone. so perhaps elemi + black pepper could be better than elemi alone.

Someone with good laboratory technique (ie, take methodical notes) could perform some double-blind tests and set some things straight.
 
It might boil down to differences in metabolism or enzyme morphology / concentrations etc. But I am sorry to only provide speculation even as I am writing this.
 
Drink half a bottle of this bottle of elemi oil. With 10 Lines of methoxetamine and they will strengthen your visuals and astral conctact (Gods, aliens)...But I have that all the time..

This stuff actually works. I'm surprised too..Yeah, it's nowhere LSD or Mescaline like they said it would be a mix...but I Love mixing my dissociatives with psychedelics for extra synergy....

(I Reccommend DXM Fourth/sigma Plateau while on a hit of decent LSD....) I bet yo ass can't handle it. Neither can I.=D Strongest shit ever will hit you a week...

Hmmm...I've tried Elemi and didn't feel much (if anything). Maybe it was just weak or I didn't take enough...I've read that the smell should be spicy rather than lemon-y, and mine was definitely lemontastic. My friend ordered some young living elemi, so we'll see how that works. I usually take about 10 drops and have tried it alone and with mescaline cacti with little success.
 
It's shit like this that gets research chemicals banned. 10 lines of mxe? sigh... if you could feel anything after doing that i'm sure it wouldn't be pleasant.

Elemicin isn't very active at all in the grand scheme of things, I'm afraid.
 
Yeah I didn't feel much yesterday, but it could have been because I didn't eat pepper this time to inhibit the liver enzymes. I'm still trying to figure this substance out.

Well, he has posted he's up to two grams per day. He also posted about being sent to the psyche ward for two weeks... and then posted about planning on finishing the 20 grams he just got in a week and a half.

Maybe try the Dark Side, Aeon? You're in trouble. It's hard to see through super dissociated PCP like mania, but you probably are.
 
yeah man i would chill out and sober up before making any more decisions about anything. gotta prioritize man, and that much of that stuff isnt good for anyone...
 
If another thread is made discussing the properties of elemi oil and experiences with it, fine, but this thread doesn't need to be open. To much dicksizing, and lacking in any harmreduction/educational value.
