With the new year coming up, it’s not too early to start thinking about plans for 2011. And it’s official: Electric Zoo is a must-do on the calendar of any electronic music lover. Electric Zoo 2010 was a smashing success and Electric Zoo 2011 promises to be even bigger and better, expanding to three days over Labor Day Weekend: Friday, September 2nd to Sunday, September 4th, 2011 on Randall’s Island Park in New York City. So mark your calendars, because Made Event is offering a winter holiday early bird ticket special starting now!

In only its second year, Electric Zoo 2010 saw a sold-out, 50,000-person crowd, with over 70 of the world’s best DJs dropping beats for two days of sunshine and dancing. From techno, trance and dubstep to house and electro and more, there was something for every electronic music aficionado. Last year's lineup included 2010 DJ Mag Top 10 DJs Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz and Axwell, as well as the Grammy-nominated Chemical Brothers, Wolfgang Gartner, and Dirty South, along with Moby, Richie Hawtin and Major Lazer. In Armin van Buuren’s words: “New York finally has the [Electronic Dance Music] festival it deserves.

Buy your tickets early and plan ahead because Electric Zoo 2011 will be epic. Also makes the perfect holiday gift for the music lover in your life!

Electric Zoo 2009 was heaven

Electric Zoo 2010 was HELL...the assholes who arranged this thing should've given everyone a refund. The line to get in was an hour and a half. The line to use the portapoty was 45 min. Getting off the island took 3 fucking hours!!! FUCK THESE MTFs!!!

In 2009, there were about 4 or 5 thousand people who attended the day I was there. In 2010, there were 30 thousand! Ok, this would've been cool except the oraganizers didn't increase the number of portapotys or staff and resources whatsoever from the year before! What kind of idiots run this shit?

I rather committ suicide than go to Electric Zoo again!

If you're considering this, think again...you wanna pay hundreds of dollars for absolue misery?

wow go fuck urself... it is stuck on earth formers who throw electric zoo and obviously u never went to boo on randalls island or u would not be complaining.. and obviously u never been to a major music festival like bonaroo or even starscape... cmon dude... really ur complaining over a little wait.. electric zoo is the closest to one nation or boo parties... and they were the best nyc parties ever... electric musically speaking.... anyways noone listen to georgewc2001 he is obviously a finicky impatient fuckhead... ;)

Made Events was Stuck on Earth? Never heard that but I'm out of the loop.

Chuck--- Boo was a series of 8 parties thrown by Stuck on Earth. Boo 6 and 7 were on Randall's Island.
