Electric Daisy Carnival

Damien give me a call or text me when you get in there Fri/Sat I should be with a group of people and we should all meet up for a picture this time.
 
i'm freakin excited for this. I didn't think. I didn't think i'd be able to go but last week i found i could go and got tickets. Cost eighty bucks because i waited too long. This is my first massive. The first rave i went to was a wharehouse rave about a month ago. So excited, i can't wait until i set foot inside.
 
Hmm might not be able to go now. My friend got in a accident and he is in the hospital and his family is out of town for a few weeks so he has no one there with him so I might stay with him at the hospital.
 
i'm going tomorrow. So excited. Has anyone heard anything on the news about it? I heard it came in as breaking news, but i missed it. Something about alot of ambulanes and firetrucks
 
alright, so EDC last night officially fucking rocked.

green mickeys + carnival rides + infected mushroom....I was absolutely floored the entire time :D

Pretty much wanted to put a gun to my head this morning though, ugggggh. Took a bunch of 5htp and got some more sleep though, feel at about 90% now.

How was everyone else's experience?
 
Loved it. An amazing night. I also saw infected mushrooms. Can't believe how many people there were. I think i heard there were 90 thousand? Record for north america? Thats crazy. Benassi didn't show. Thought that kinda sucked. So many people on the field they stopped letting people on. Saw dj am which was pretty good. Alot of michael jackson mixes, which i enjoyed quite a bit. Over all an amazing night.
 
When they stopped letting people on the field, hundreds jumped the fence to get down there anyway... I was one of them... there was plenty of room...

I went both days.

It was my first rave.

NOT my first time rolling. It WAS my first time rolling two days back to back.

I'm still processing/recovering.

Vitamins and supplements are my friends :)

It was an enriching experience, but also total sensory overload.

I think its gonna feel good to go back to work (reality) today, after resting up yesterday...

When ATB threw Coldplay into his set and got the whole audience to sing along it was amazing. And I'm not not really a Coldplay fan either, it just fit so perfectly for the moment, the crowd, the vibe...

haha, yeah we climbed the fence too and the security guards were right there watching us...they didn't do anything though.

I didn't go both days but I took 5 clean rolls that night....fuuuuuck was I out of it yesterday morning, lol. I took a bunch of 5htp and vitamins though, feeling right as rain today :D

can't wait for Nocturnal, sept. 26th!
 
EDC was euphoric to say the least

i wasn't even expecting to go until about 4 p.m. on Friday when i get a call saying "hey I'm taking you to EDC get ready"

the night was bonkers
i couldn't have asked for something better!
 
^ Aw that's awesome. Too bad it wasn't Saturday. I got there at about 6 and stayed the whole time. It's been a while since I've done that. It was great though.
 
yeah, I guess sneaking in isn't as hard as I thought. Saturday was the better night. I think if I had not taken any LSD on Friday and not been able to sleep, I probably would have lasted the whole night. all in all it was fun.
 
A couple of people I know just show up hours early and act like they belong there walking back and forth acting like they are working, waiting for people to be let in so they can blend in.

Except for the colosseum, which was filled to the brim with absolute filth (both musically and in terms of the crowd/environment), it was great!

Amazing music (again, sans the main stage)
Amazing stages
Amazing art
Amazing pyrotechnics


The only thing I didnt like was the layout. Apart from the Bass Pod being shafted in 09, I thought that the stage set up then was much more on par with how it should be, in comparison to this years stage set up.

Sad to see that the filth that is the new age of ravers is ruining the scene though.
