You're in for a treat.

I've only seen them live at a desert/mtn event. Which got busted so they had a "makeup" at a beach in Ventura the next day. They were awesome even with a couple ghetto speakers.

Can't wait to hear them with a big ass sound system :D
 
This is gonna be fuckin' epic. I heard some shit about there only being two rides there, which would suck, we would never get close to them through the hundred thousand people. Can anyone confirm that?
 
Just got my ticket the other day :D

75 bucks though for Saturday only :(

It's going to be my second ever rave, and the first one was only maybe a hundred or so people out in the middle of the desert. I'm expecting to be blown away :D

Now that I am a parent as well I understand where you are coming from. Shit taxes you (money/physically) and you can't afford that when you're a parent.
 
yes. matter of fact I have come to love electronic music. I'll always be a rocker, but theres something about sweeping synths and bass. ahhh the memories of last summer. EDC will be a good way to kick off this summer.

Infected live is absolutely amazing, they will blow you away. The thing a lot of people don't realize is that they're actually a full band, that plays instruments, their music isn't truly electronic, which makes them even cooler. Watching the singer manipulate his voice to get that creepy synthesized sound is hypnotizing.

I wish I was going to EDC in LA, I would kill to see Fake Blood, but I have to settle for the Denver party...Crystal Method and Infected Mushroom will kick ass either way I suppose.
 
I've never been to a rave or a massive. I really want to go to EDC but I don't have anyone to go with me. I'm not really opposed to the idea of going by myself. But I don't know if it's a good idea to go alone, seeing as I would want to roll.

Any suggestions or advice would be helpful.

I am well experienced with MDMA and have used it in club environments a fair amount of times. I have my own supply so I won't need to purchase any substances there. And I would be taking a cab there and back (luckily I live close enough to do this for a decent price).

I guess I just don't quite know what to expect and I don't wanna come off as a narc or a douche or an idiot. Nor do I want to get in trouble with police/security for being under the influence or in the possession of narcotics. I'm totally fine being considered a noob as long as it's friendly...

What I DO want is to go and have a safe, fun, wonderful experience
 
Well as far as I know Saturday is sold out so in order to go Saturday you have to buy the two day pass unless you can find a ticket on Craigslist or something. I have gone to raves alone but that's because I love to dance and I love the music. I can see how going alone might be boring though. As far as being high in the event I wouldn't say "Don't worry about it because nothing ever happens" but a lot of people do it without problems. From my experience the authorities are there to keep the crowd safe and in control so as long as you're not being a dumbass I don't think you'll have much trouble. The taxi is a great idea!

Saturday sold out??

I just called the place that I ordered my tickets from 3 weeks ago and they told me they'll be in "in a few days".

If they haven't ordered them yet and they've sold out there is going to be some fucking hell to pay...
 
sorry guys, they went back up on sale! I heard they had sold out and when I checked on the weekend they were not selling Saturday tickets but they are now! :D
