The preliminary line-up for Electric Daisy Carnival 2007 has been announced and tickets are on sale! Headlining talent at EDC this year includes: Deep Dish (Dubfire and Sharam), Hernan Cattaneo, Above & Beyond, Infected Mushroom (Live), Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, Kaskade, DJ Marky, DJ Zinc, and Goldie. We’ll be announcing the full line-up in the next few weeks, so make sure to check back for updates!
Insomniac is pleased to announce that the legendary house music duo Deep Dish will be headlining this year's Electric Daisy Carnival, happening June 30th 2007. Both members of Deep Dish, Sharam and Dubfire, will be in attendance for their Electric Daisy Carnival performance, marking this as their only joint appearance on the West coast in all of 2007.
Electric Daisy Carnival is a twelve hour festival event featuring: five separate areas of dance and electronic music; a carnivalesque atmosphere of rides, performers and other attractions; extensive vending and merchandising sservices; and, an annual attendance upwards of 20,000 patrons.
The Grammy-award winning Deep Dish is one of America's premier dance music exports, they perform all over the world and are constantly in demand for their production and remix work. They have provided remix services for popular artists such as Madonna, Kelis, Eminem, and even Fleetwood Mac. With two critically acclaimed albums under their belt along with dozens of singles, Deep Dish continue to expand their discography with their latest contribution to the Global Underground series, in the form of Sharam's GU: Dubai mix CD. Dubfire is slated to appear once again the Global Underground series later this year with the release of his mix compilation GU: Taipei.

I am pretty sure that me and a few other people are going to be headed to this. I am really looking forward to it, the lineup is pretty off the hook. It would be cool to put together a bluelight meetup, but it doesn't really seem like that many bluelighters really post on here anymore.
 
Yeah, what the heck man? You never got back to me. Oh well, I guess you can buy it at the gate. You know you'll always have a seat in my car...

I REALLY regret living here in NYC when I see events like this... I would consider buying a plane ticket but Coachella already cleaned me out...

Once Pendulum starts touring live again thou, i'll be there with bells on!
 
This lineup is dope and I can't wait for this party. I am really hyped to see the Stanton Warriors and just about everyone else on this lineup. The house arena is pretty sick too. I think I have about 3 or 4 people flying out from Ohio to visit me for this party. Hope to see some of you all out at this.
 
I should be there. I already have a room booked, now I'm trying to see if a friend of mine can hook me up with some plane tickets, plus I still need tickets for the event. So far I'm 80% going :D Damn I haven't been to a party in years, and since I've been needing a vacation, this would be a great time for it. Another great thing I'm looking forward to will be the after parties
 
EDC Expands to Coliseum!
The festival grounds for June 30th's Electric Daisy Carnival 2007 are being expanded to include the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, which will now be used to host the main stage of the festival! Performers on the main stage include Paul Oakenfold, Deep Dish, Above & Beyond, Infected Mushroom (Live!) and more! We're expanding into the coliseum to make sure there's plenty of room throughout the event for everybody to have space to get down on the dancefloors, comfortable move from stage to stage, and enjoy the all the festivities. The rest of the festival will be located just outside the coliseum in surrounding Exposition Park, including the other four stages of music, the carnival rides and the multiple vendor locations. The full 12 hour event kicks off at 4pm two weeks from now, in the meantime we're looking forward to seeing everyone for one of the year's biggest parties!

Wife and I got tix and will be going. This will be our first massive in a looooooooooooooooooong ass time since we usually stick to smaller parties + don't wanna deal with hassles.

Hoping IM busts out some of their older psy/goa stuff.

Hope to meet some BL peoples there too :)

The last rave party I attended was almost 7 years ago - Ju-Ju Beats 2000

Man it was fun!! 2 MDMA + 2 liquid LSD + tons of pot
 
I went to this! It was my first rave and I thought it was a lot of fun.

I didn't get to use any mind-altering substances, though, unfortunately...I text messaged my buddy and asked if he had any cannabis but at that point he was totally rolling haha.
