My day got brighter every time I saw your
car pull into my drive way.
I always wanted you to stay longer.
I didnt have my liscense.
It upset me when you cut your hair.
I acted different around you
because I wanted you to like me.
I thought you did.
Sleeping with you comforted me,
and I thought that we had something.
I used to wait home for you.
I tried to use him to make you jealous,
I thought it was working.
He never would've tried anything with me.
I just wanted you there.
Leila and I used to talk in code about you.
We called you Counting Crows,
because of August and Everything After.
The number 120 reminds me of you.
Those Cd's I bought to impress you
only now have I actually learned to
appreciate them.
Going to Zachary's I considered
was our " first date. "
And the biggest secret of all....
no matter how hard I try to hide it,
I still miss the way things were.
Im sorry.

awww.... i know its hard looking back at something you dont have anymore, esp. when it was wonderful... the only thing left to do at that point in time is to just be glad you have those great memories, and if possible learn from the experience.
good work, and keep your head up

awwwww.....this so makes me think of how the simplest things were the most important in past relationships, and how they never felt simple at the time. i've often wished that i could go back to that kind of relationship when there weren't the same stresses in my life that i have now...

yeah
simple things are what really define a relationship. Usually the things that start and end a relationship too. Ironically.
nice poem

What the fuck, the fuck have I become? I've become the product of the sum. Caught in this endless circle. I've become the stupidest man in the world.
