Is there any fellow BLers in or around Cairo who fancy meeting up? Im working out here for a while and just about ready to top myself or go home...

Does anyone know how obliging the pharmacies are here too? I know when I was
working in Jordan they gave you pretty much whatever you pointed your finger at...

It's extremely chaotic, dirty, noisy and ridicolously overpopulated, like you literally feel the place explode with too many people. Traffic is probably the worst, even compared with big asian cities like Bangkok. Then the thing is that there's really no upwards, I mean in Bangkok you can escape the chaos in the temples, the royal palace, they all have gardens and it's quiet and clean inside, nothing similar in Cairo. Boring socially, only clubs are in hotels and are utter shite. I've been to my fair share of shitholes in the world and Cairo by far wins the competition as the shittiest.

went lasrt year - if you want hash its very good n cheap and easy to get. Smack is pretty easy to get in the cities but like normal be careful, the bedouin run the opium/hash and gear so find yer self a friendly camal ride geezer. Nothing otc but docs are not expensive so may write a decent script

It's a brilliant country, but probably pretty strict where pharmacies are concerned. It's the only country I've visited where on entering and leaving I've had to explain and *mime* the contents of various tubs of vitamins. (And I'm usually the demographic that gets no fuss whatsoever..)

Sandboarding and snorkelling is probably a better plan than topping yerself, though.
