^lol, for thanksgiving we had pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream. the whipped cream stayed in the canister for all of a half hour before my roommate cleaned it out and disposed of the rest of the nangs.

Glad you guys are enjoying my recipes! Two things: Don't grind a whole nutmeg into the chai. Half of a small one is plenty. Also, add some really thin slices of fresh ginger to the glüwein.

I also put in half a star anise when I'm making the chai just for myself. But I leave it out otherwise, because I don't find a lot of people dig it. I swear it's mildly psychoactive.

I saw this recipe on another site and will definitely be making good use of it this Summer holiday!

1 part Vanilla Vodka
2 parts undiluted Cottees cordial, any flavour you like
1 cup water
A container
A freezer

Mix together the vodka, water and cordial into a container, and freeze. It's that easy. It will turn into a SENSATIONAL slushie mixture overnight. It's so sensational there should be a law against it, but I'm glad there isn't..

^ yeh I was introduced to absolut vanilla vodka recently, it's great stuff hey? I've never tried infusing vodka but doing one with vanilla pods will be high on my agenda if I ever get around to it.

its supposed to be fatty, its pretty much a custard. most people only drink a glass or so each holiday season. its not something you drink loads and loads of.

thats not true. ive went thru about 4 quarts now just by myself. i love eggnog

is cottees cordial the same as concentrated juice mix?
