efragin? ephregen?

a friend was telling me of a prescription pill that he has been getting messed up on called something like 'efragen' or 'ephragen' i don't know the exact spelling, so i can't seem to find any info online.
can anyone tell me the right spelling so i can do some research before i take these things?
he says they are like speed, but i am having trouble believing that there is another prescription speed that i haven't heard of already.

probably ephedrine... available over the counter. eg "ripped fuel".

Much much weaker than any "real" speed (amphetamines). You can make meth out of it, that's all that it has going for it.

it is not ephredrine, i'm sure of that. that's what i originally thought as well. but ephedrine does not come in a prescription form does it? and this pill was pressed by a company, not some underground lab or something.
whatever it is, i don't think it's worth trying, since i can't find out what it does.
oh well, too bad.

That's what I was thinking too when I read this post. Not recreational though, but very useful (phenegren that is) if you ever can't stop vomitting.
