Effexor, wellbutrin and lsd

Searched but didn't really find any answers... so decided to make a thread.

Anyways I'm on effexor and wellbutrin for situational depression, but... my friends just got some tabs and they said that the tabs were the best they've ever taken. So now I want to pick some up for myself.

I know the drug faq says effexor is relatively safe and won't effect it, same for bupropion. but I guess I want to know what does relatively safe mean?

What are the possible side effects that would happen? Bad trip? a seizure?


If anyone has any useful advice or experience it would be much appreciated.

The Effexor, being an SNRI, will significantly reduce the strength of the trip.
I'm really not sure why you'd be put on an SNRI and a dopamine-norepinephrine repuptake inhibitor simultaneously... your doctor must be a fan of active norepinephrine.

When I was on wellbutrin, I had to take almost twice as much lsd to get my normal effects. I don't recommend starting off with a super high dose, but from experience I just know that most people have to kick it up a notch.
