effects of predniosone on downers

So I'm highly asthmatic and I take prednisone quite frequently to help with flare-ups. I usually don't take too many downers durning an asthma attack due to the breathing problems. But what if i were to say take my daily dose of 60mg of prednisone and drank some PST? Prednisone has no interactions with morphine as far as I can see but I'm more interested since prednisone for me at least is "an upper" (high blood pressure, pulse, etc.) would it have an effect if any with morphine or any downers as well - benzos included.

Prednisone gives me bad side effects where I get agitated and have trouble sleeping. I've used sedatives with them to calm myself. The trouble with poppy tea would be consistency in your batch. (unlike opioid tablets) I would be cautious and drink only small amounts until you know how you will react. You can always take more later.
