Effects of different opiates on tolerance levels

I have been learning a lot on BL about people's experiences of getting their tolerance levels blown out of the water by just a few uses of a different type of o.
I am so thankful I did not have to learn this through experience, yet, and am keeping my oxycodone use to as prescribed or less than prescribed.
So, a couple of questions: If I am ever prescribed diladuds or fentynal patches, and take them as prescribed, meaning using patches as patches, and taking the dilaudid orally, what will they do to my oxy tolerance? Also, I was just recently prescribed 15 mg morphine sulfate ER, and after a day or so , my tolerance level to the oxy's comes right back to "normal." What will happen if my dosage of the morphine ER is increased?
Sorry for any misspellings... my spell check is not helping.

I use to take 15mg ER tabs, & morphine is 1:1 equal to hydrocodone......so 15mgs of vicodin orally is equal to 15ngs of morphine orally.

My tolerance never went up with morphine & I felt vicodin when I took it.

Your tolerance will sky rocket into the galaxy with fentanyl patches no matter if you take them as prescribed, it's still fentanyl.

Can't tell you too much about dilaudid because I never took them or read up on them too much.

I will tell you fentanyl is the last frontier of opiates & it should be your last resort after you've used oxycodone, morphine, dilaudid, oxymorphone......& in that order.

^^Thanks, TLB. I have seen your posts around BL, and I appreciate your response. Yeah, this is good to know. I have an appt. on Thursday, and I could tell the doctor that the morphine doesn't work, in order to see if I can get the fentanyl patches, but that shows how crazy I am, b/c I do want to get clean from opioids altogether soon. I want to see what fent feels like...I have a very addictive personality so I better get into a mindset that some things are better not experienced, and that includes those patches.

I've had chances to use fentanyl for free & passed the opportunity up every time......read too many horror stories to try it.

Also, from everything I read about fentanyl, its not a euphoric drug at all......but it does kill any pain you have.....also, there's a fine line between being very high & overdosing.

If you go & read the Dark side forum, there are quite a few stories of fentanyl deaths that occurred from Blue light users......just be careful.
