Effectiveness of an Air Purifier

Hey everyone.

Recently I moved into a new appartment and to cut to the point: We're not allowed to smoke inside. I am considering gettng an "Air Purifier" (along the lines of a growroom "Carbon Filter") to allow me to smoke inside without the room and house getting too stunk out. Now i'm not expecting the room to be odourless but how much of an effect would this have at keeping me out of trouble with the landlords? This would be used in conjunction with occasional washing of the walls/exposed surfaces etc.

I own a honeywell air purifier(HEPA Filter) that is approved to purify air within a 180 sq ft radius. Does it help? Yes. Will it completely get rid of the smell? No. Maybe if you bought multiple you could completely get rid of the smell, but they can be kinda pricey.

no need for the metal piece, just use flexible 6 inch ducting. All the supplies will be at your local hydroponics store.
2.BUY ONE OF THESE.....

3.THEN DO THIS TO IT- THERE ARE MANY VARIATIONS PICK WHAT WOULD BE EASIEST( THE "GREAT STUFF" METHODS ARE KEY)

THEN ATTACH THE SCRUBBER TO THE BLOWER
AND YOU WILL BE SET, JUST TURN IT ON WHEN YOU SMOKE,

I BET YOU WONT EVEN HAVE TO WASH THE WALLS.

I would reccommend a Hepa Filter.

All of those Ionizing cleaners are bullshit. I used to work at Brookstone and sold both Hepa Filter fans and the bullshit $300.00 Ionizers. Fuck Ionizers, they are a gimmick. Sure, they do something. Nothing compared to a hepa filter which not only helps remove smoke, but many allergens an Ionizer can and often misses.

Doctors often reccomend hepa filters using fans. As do I.

I like the idea of an air purifier but for the same price as an air purifier you could have a vaporizer. Efficient use of herb, good for your health, almost no smell. And you can vaporize as much as you want w\o attracting atttention.

I highly (pun intended) recommend Volcano vapes but a hotbox vape for 150 will get you just as high. Its just harder to get a good hit until you get used to it. Also, I imagine a 150 dollar vape won't last as long. As with all things, you get what you pay for.

simple air purifer or any type of grow filter (or hepa filter like skoat said) mixed in with some Frebreeze will kill a lot of the smell.

If you're in a rut, smoke a butt, or microwave the fuck out of popcorn! That'll get rid of a lot of the smell... For an "emergency" procedure. Burning popcorn gets rid of every smell on earth.

vape is probably a better bet. i've found that all the common approaches to masking the smell (purifier, ozium, sploof, fans, towel under the door) aren't guaranteed to always work, especially if you've got some funky buds.

the filter i mentioned works to scrub this

there were large ionising units suspended above our welding tables in the shipyards . they really ripped the flux smoke out of the air . maintainence was weekly as the pan in them filled up with the particulate shit that formerly went into our lungs .
i am telling you we could see down the whole length of the fab shop for the first time while a shift was on .
i have also seen much smaller units in smoke break rooms that had no pan but rather made the cig smoke and dust stick to the walls .
