Am I the only one that thinks Edward Norton is a little underrated?

he's a great actor. Has the ability to both look hot and ugly depending on the role. That shows confidence IMO as opposed to actors only wanting to look great.

i wouldn't say edward norton is underrated at all. he gets TONS of credit. i for one think he's a brilliant actor and i don't think i've ever heard anyone say otherwise.

my bf looks soooo much like edward norton and though I never paid much attention to his movies, I always smile when I see him cuz he reminds me of a really great person.

I loved him in American History X, Primal Fear, Frida, even in the Hulk.
He's a great actor and I used to find him super duper hot. (now I just like him) ;)

He's my favorite actor. He had major roles in Rounders and Fight Club, both of which are in my top 5 favorite films.

Definitely underrated imo. :D

he's just a low profile person. but that's what makes him such a great actor, because nobody really knows every intimate detail of his life. if everyone knew he were fucking angelina jolie, lived in a french castle and had a gaggle of adopted kids then it would be harder to see him as any given character over the larger-than-life person he could be in reality. i think that's probably what makes christian bale so appealing as an actor as well. you'd probably think he was underrated as well if he didn't get caught up in this flavour-of-the-week status and accepted every major picture deal thrown his way

yeah i guess your right. Its just you dont see him as much so you dont hear anyone raving about him. Im sure if i brought him up in a conversation his name would be met with great admiration.

I think Primal Fear was his break out role. He was also great in Fight Club, Rounders, and American History X. I must admit that I have a soft spot for The Score too. The Illusionist was kinda iffy, though.

i thought the score was really good. i also thought he was good in the italian job... it's great to see that he has a lot of range. he's not always the good guy, sometimes he's a complete prick.

THAT SAID... nobody has mentioned his performance in "death to smoochy" how great was he in that movie!? "american history x" to "death to smoochy" that truly shows his range. what a great actor. :)

^ I'm with you on that one.
I don't see him as being underrated either, one of my favourite actors.

Besides, when I have my goatie I'm constantly told I look like him :D

i think he's overrated.

not that he's bad, he's a very good actor, but he doesn't have or hasn't shown that much range.
