Editing a post in a closed thread?

Is this possible?

I'm trying to edit one of my posts from a closed 'big & dandy thread' but there's no options at the bottom of the posts to edit?

If the thread is closed and you wish to delete / edit etc then you need to PM the moderator of that section and ask them to do it for you.
