Ive been smoking for a few years and smoking is losing is potency no matter how much i smoke. If i had say 7.5 grams of medical, would baking it all or making oil and dosing orally be a better high than smokin a few bowls after work? If anyone has any experiences please let me know....I want the walk to the fridge to be fucking epic again!!!

it'll be a different high. but definitely better for your lungs. you'll just have to resist the compulsion to smoke, and i'm sure that's the hardest part.

You can't bypass tolerance through a different ROA. Eating in general tends to be stronger for most people, but the cannabinoids all end up in your brain either way. You need to cut back to reduce tolerance if you want to be able to get more high again.

IMO smoking a lot is a waste of weed. If you practice moderation you can get high with less than a joint easily.

NMDA antagonists seem to almost completely reset weed tolerance. Taking a few days break while at the same time using NMDA antagonists seem to do alot more than just taking a break.

What NMDA antagonists have you found that with?

Whether true or not, I don't think it's a good idea to give this kind of advice. NMDA antagonists come with a whole other set of precautions and effects; they should not be trifled with for the sake of increasing cannabis tolerance.

The safest way to reduce tolerance is to abstain for a while. If you barely get high anymore then it means you're doing too much.

Time for a tolerance break. Its gonna be rough but maybe you can have a few beers in the evening to take the edge off, thats how I got through it. After 1.5 months my tolerance was gone Completely, oh my god do you get faded. I literally had CEVs the first night I smoked again, and I literally needed only 1 hit of good weed to feel it. Im still enjoying the benefits of my last T break, Ive been fucking with wax and hash so its went up some. But even still one wax dab or a fat rip of half bud/half hash in the bong sends me flying nowadays.

Before I sas buying either a gram of wax every other day or 2 grams of top shelf flowers at the clinic daily. Now its a gram of wax in 4ish days and 3 to 4 days on the flowers. Money saved is tremendous, my lungs feel immensely better, I get super high off tiny amounts. Good solid tolerance break.

Eating it can be amazing and very different to smoking; I've tried regular eating as opposed to smoking, it depends on your usage of MJ/hash (mine was massive), but I would say regular eating (I'd eat it several times a day) can get way heavy (sluggish brain dead sedation) with a long duration and consumes just colossal amounts

Eating a brownie is going to be a completely different feeling than smoking a bowl IMO... but one thing is certain, you build tolerance to THC all the same. When I make butter and put it in my oatmeal the morning after I usually stay stoned for 6-7 hours but the next day when i do the same thing its for sure a weaker high. A tolerance break is what you're looking for. You're tolerance isn't going to change just because you change the method of consumption. If it says anything, I've been smoking high grade medicinal marijuana just about every day for the past 4 years or so, i recently moved states and lost my connect so i haven't been able to smoke for the past two weeks. but yesterday I decided to scrape the resin out of my favorite bowl and spark that up and HOLY SHIT! I rediscovered weed all over again...I was the highest I've been in a while.

To sum it up: Taking a tolerance break would get you exactly where you want to be. Go cold turkey for about 2-4 weeks and then grab a tiny little nug and spark it up. You sir, will be super folded.

Would a threshold/low dose of dxm work? Lets say 60mg per day? Together/spread out?
Im interested.

I tried making the switch to just edibles and it was a disaster. I need to smoke for certain medical issues, and for this one job I had to stop smoking (It was working for an industrial grow op too, I shit you not. Owners were fucking assholes. Weed, weed everywhere and none of it to smoke). I'd just be totally stoned all day but not fun, happy, uplifting, psychedelic stoned but bored, apathetic, irritable and tired type stone. You tolerance sky-rockets too. It's pretty ridiculous how much my tolerance went up. I was eating hundreds and hundreds of mg's of THC a day when I stopped and for weeks after that I would have to smoke 1/8s a day. Before the switch I was smoking an 1/8th a week. I only fully switched for 2 months too. The act and ritual of smoking is also really addictive and probably one of the best parts of being a stoner, and obviously edibles don't really help you out there.
