Two definitions of the word ecstasy:

Ecstasy is a subjective experience of total involvement of the subject, with an object of his or her awareness. Because total involvement with an object of our interest is not our ordinary experience since we are ordinarily aware also of other objects, the ecstasy is an example of altered state of consciousness characterized by diminished awareness of other objects or total lack of the awareness of surroundings and everything around the object. For instance, if one is concentrating on a physical task, then one might cease to be aware of any intellectual thoughts. On the other hand, making a spirit journey in an ecstatic trance involves the cessation of voluntary bodily movement.

Spiritual ecstasy is an altered state of consciousness characterized by greatly reduced external awareness and expanded interior mental and spiritual awareness which is frequently accompanied by visions and emotional/intuitive (and sometimes physical) euphoria. Although the experience is usually brief in physical time,[1] there are records of such experiences lasting several days or even more, and of recurring experiences of ecstasy during one's lifetime. Subjective perception of time, space and/or self may strongly change or disappear during ecstasy.

Both attempts to define the term suggest a kind of emotional bond with the subject, along with total mental concentration. Only the "spiritual" definition mentions the word euphoria, which is what people tend to think of when the word ecstasy is used.

Definition of the word euphoria:

Euphoria (pronounced /juːˈfɔəriə/, from Ancient Greek εὖ, "well", and φέρειν. "to bear") is medically recognized as a mental and emotional state defined as a profound sense of well-being.[1] Technically, euphoria is an affect,[2] but the term is often colloquially used to define emotion as an intense state of transcendent happiness combined with an overwhelming sense of contentment. The word derives from Greek εὐφορία, "power of enduring easily, fertility".

Considering these definitions, I'm not sure ecstasy would be the best slang term for MDMA, although "euphoria" doesn't sound quite as good.

I don't really understand what you're asking? Are you asking how you can feel the effects of MDMA or are you trying to achieve an MDMA like state without the use of drugs?

I'll do my best to answer a strange question(no offense op maybe I'm missing something)

1. Ecstasy is a feeling

2. It's most popularly achieved through mdma

You could relate lots of different things to an ecstasy feeling. Like if you had a baby, or were cured from some disease or something similar, but imo there's nothing like a high dose of mdma.
