Ecstasy deaths: Hertfordshire police issue drugs warning


A senior police officer has issued a warning about the dangers of illegal drugs following the deaths of two young men believed to have taken ecstasy.

A 21-year-old man from Watford died on 29 November and a man from Aylesbury, also 21, died on 12 December.

Hertfordshire Police is investigating the deaths. Both thought to have taken MDMA (ecstasy).

Assistant Chief Constable Jon Boutcher said the public needed to be aware of the risks.

He said: "We would like to remind the public of the inherent risks in taking illegal drugs.

"In particular at this time of year when people are out celebrating before Christmas.

"Both deaths are subject to a coroner's investigation and police inquiries are taking place.

"Results from toxicology and other tests are still awaited, consequently causes of these tragic deaths have not been fully ascertained.

"However we do have indications that they both took the drug MDMA.

"Our thoughts and sympathies are with the families of these two young men at this very difficult time."

i know its not detailed but at least its a warning that dodgy e's are around in the area
 
MDMA =/= Death

Until the coroner's report comes out you have no idea if it's pipes/took too much/dehydrated/mixed with cough syrup or a number of other things.

If anything shows how important it is to test your shit !

Tragic loss though, thoughts to family members and friends.
 
if thats what they are iv a very good idea why and where the have come from these are fake pills being pumped out from a group of yorkshire wankers know for over pressing pills so people take more because the pressed to hard and dnt brake up in the gut and cut to shit with all sorts of crap

People have fallen ill and died before whilst on the rockstars, this year in ibiza. They are tested clean mdma, there is not going to be ALOT more deaths. Just because they where taking that stamp at the time it does not mean that the MDMA is too blame, a lot of the time people just have bad reactions or have underlying health conditions. Lots of people have died from the result of taking mdma, it happens.

It also states nowhere that they where rockstars but well see..
 
Too much water, not enough water, took too many fucking pills cause they thought they were boss (I've heard of people popping 20 in a night, yet overdoses are very uncommon), may have been the one in 50,000 allergic to it, may have taken other fucking drugs in conjunction, may have been exhibiting irresponsible actions.. Whatever reason, the chances of death being caused by the MDMA itself are slim.

They will probably have no comment if the toxicology report turns up negative for MDMA.
 
like iv said if the batch that i think they are its because they are pressed so hard you can smash them with hammer no shit don't know if you remember red hearts and armani from 4 years ago or so they were lethal because of it came from these yorkshire tossers you pop one and 2 hours later you like what the fuck so neck 2 more then the first one would bust and you were screwed
