ecstasy vs cocaine

can someone please compare coke to ecstasy for me i know they are completly different but i want to hear what they are both like more so the coke becuase i have no experience with it other than being around kids who have used it
 
In my opinion the only thing they have in common is that they are stimulants. Ecstasy has alot of psychedelic effects which i really like. Coke just tweaks you, makes you feel like god for 10mins, then you get paranoid like hell and the peak wear off really quickly. Looking back im amazed at how much coke i did considering I really don't like it that much.
 
Extascy is similar to coke just like its similar to caffiene.. they only trait they share is fact that their both stimulants.. even though x is a psychadelic stimulant.

I heard an analogy that gives a good comparison between amphetamines and coke. Both coke and amps make you feel happier because they help your brain retain dopamine in different ways. Imagine that your brain's dopamine level's is an open sink that always has the faucet running. The water that is running through the sink at all times is your body's dopamine. Using cocaine enables your body to have more dopamine by plugging up the sink drain so that less dopamine flows down the drain. Amphetamines gives your brain more dopamine by turning up the pressure of the faucet so that more dopamine flows from the faucet.

In theory amphetamines and cocaine both make you feel better by giving your brain more dopamine yet the way in which both work are very different from each other and illict different effects. Ritalin affects your dopamine receptors in almost the same way that cocaine does which is probaly why a lot of adderall/amp fans strongly dislike ritalin.

Depends what both are cut with.. both drugs are pretty heavily cut but if you were to compare pure mdma to pure cocaine pure mdma should feel way cleaner.
 
ive had pure mdma, and pretty good coke (youll never find 100 percent) but i can gaurentee the mdma was 80 percent pure and the coke def wasnt that pure but the coke still gives me a cleaner high.
 
Good Cocaine however hard it is to actually come by these day. Is in my mind far superior to MDMA. Clean coke that is not cut with some other stim to me is just beautiful.... If you have a lot of it.

And Cocaine+alcohol or an opiate Is 10x better then MDMA
 
You could just be talking to an anti psychedelic portion of BL right now. I loved mdma the first time I did it. The next couple of times I just felt out of place and too emotional for my own good. So obviously MDMA isn't something I'd do strictly for pleasure or euphoria.

I can have a better time with good coke, and like others have said, especially when it's mixed with a painkiller. However I don't really want to recommend coke for anyone, the short lasting high doesn't make up for the shitty comedown and latent paranoia that doesn't go away for a good while after.

All in all, coke is something more comparable to amphetamine or stimulants that pump you up physically and mentally. MDMA is stimulating but more like the euphoric/emotional side of LSD or mushrooms.
 
As stated above, both are stimulants. However, in my area, consistency plays a major role to which I'd prefer. That being said, the coke here sucks (too much cut). I usually have a better time on E, and concerning finances...I spend less on E and have a much greater time than when on coke. My last experiences with coke just turned me off completely. I just ended up broke and pissed off.
 
Ecstacy has more of an emphathogenic, ego softening effect as opposed to cocaine's more ego-hardening effect. This is due to ecstacy being primarily a serotoninergic, while cocaine is mostly dopaminergic. Those two neurotransmitters are sort of like yin and yang. What they have in common is that they both release dopamine and norepinephrine which are responsible for the stimulating effect. I think cocaine also has a slight serotoninergic effect if you count the 5-HT3 receptor, which mostly just releases dopamine unlike most other 5-HT receptors. wait... this is BDD! ah what the hell. Cocaine no matter the route of administration has a greatly shorter duration than MDMA (ecstacy) and it's analogues. Cocaine will usually last around 30 minutes, and MDMA will last around 3 hours.

They are also both very difficult to find in high purity/quality on the street. They're usually cut with things like amphetamines, ephedrine, sugar, and sometimes even PCP.
 
Ecstacy is WAY better than coke. X floods your brain with serotonin and makes you feel happy. Coke, makes you just speedy and sometimes paranoid.

I was under the impression that alcohol directly reverses the effect of coke and basically is a waste of the drug?

Am I sadly mistaken? Have I been missing out? :)
 
Oh hell yeah, coke and alcohol produce some very nice euphoria.
Also alcohol binds with cocaine to produce an even longer lasting form of cocaine. But I still prefer opiates with coke. Makes the crash much more tolerable.
MDMA was awesome the first few times but now I get the come down from hell if I take E the previous night. Depression lasting for days. Thats why I dont do much E.
 
got to love cocaethylene.

xtc is great especially for those 1st timers. but sometimes I feel like a love deprived retard.
