Ecstasy & Therapy

Therapy is for the weak.

Only those who cannot accept reality need therapy. If I was a therapist, id take a 2x4 board and beat my patients to death thus ending their insignificant existence and emotional burden on society.

If you cant function, you shouldnt be alive. Cause in nature, if you cant function, you die. Whys it gotta be different for us over-advanced monkeys? It doesnt. It only IS because too many people care.

Dont care, just kill, fuck, sleep, eat, die, thats all lifes about, thats all life ever will be about.

Pathetic that we hafta turn to drugs for therapy when there shouldnt even be therapy in the first place. Just plaguing this world with inferior human beings, fuck em all I say.
You know Sphinx, during the early years of male adulthood, your body is just flooded with testosterone. And almost all males are able to completely cope with this biological process.

Unfortunately, there is a small percentage of males who are damaged psychologically by these otherwise natural changes. The damaging effect can last for just a few years, or it can continue up until the time when their testosterone levels finally begin to decline. What has been identified as "common behaviors" among this small population is a rapid readiness for aggression (more often "implied" rather than physical), and a marked tendency to make impetuous and poor social judgments.

Over time, this marked inclination towards aggressive behavior results in continued damage to their social life (friends, family, one's relationship with one's own children, etc.). The most difficult aspect of this is that they are completely unable to comprehend that it is their own aggressive nature which is responsible for the harm occuring to those around them. More often then not, they perceive this damaging effect as being the responsibility of "other" (such as in cases where spouse abuse occurs, and the aggressor blames the victim for the aggressor's abusiveness).

Some researchers have even speculated, by examining detailed archival profile records, that those who suffered from this disorder, rouse to the highest ranks in the Hitler Youth Movement of the 1930's and 1940's. These very same subjects went on afterwards, to successfully perform with considerable honors as Brown Shirts, and other in divisions under the banner of the Nazi party.

Everything I have said here is true, especially the anti-social expression of disregard and disdain for others. And as you reach this sentence you are most likely incredibly angry with me, or you have already turned this around and have somehow "framed" it so that my pointing all of thgis out is "my fault."

At any rate, these issues which you have, are going to haunt you for most of your life (and your impact will probably haunt people whom you haven't even met yet for most of their lives, as well). There are treatments, you know, for those who find themselves so easily drawn to the into their aggressive side. And at this time in your life, you would probably reap the greatest benefits from them, too.

But, alas, you've already drawn a "clever" conclusion in your mind that anyone who requires any form of psychological assistance amd wishes to be a better person should be "tossed into the gas chambers and be done with them!"

So congratulations on finding and embracing the very thought modality which will guarantee that, many years from now, you will only be remembered for the pain you have brought to bare upon others.

What a pathetic mess. :\

And even if you were only joking, or would like someone to "believe" in the aftermath that you were joking, what terrible memes and messages you've selected to be putting out to the world. Of all the things that one could create as an image, you produce a pictuire of the world as invisioned by a psychopath...

some of these questions would be better if asked in the ecstasy discussion forum

Like, 30mg would be a good high for someone with no tolerance

this is said to be the psychoactive threshold for most people. this is no where near a recreational dose. if you are looking to get high, ~80mg is a good starting dose, assuming uve taken all the necessary precautions to protect urself

So is the dosage probably 1.5x that of methylamphetamine? The reason people rose to high ranks in the Nazi party is simple...power and free shit. I'd be Kommandant of a camp for a free villa, Van Gogh paintings, thousands of bottles of the worlds finest wine, and power over life and death. It's simple: people will do anything to have power. Plus, those SS uniforms were pimp. They had real silver bullion stitching in them and a silver skull on the hats. Hitler was an artist and knew that aesthetics matter to people, he was right. Compare the Nazis to the communists...the Germans had class, education and culture but were able to kill anyways. Everybody can become a mass murderer given the right place, time and situation.

LOL not mad at all.

I just live by the motto "survival of the fittest", the rest of the world doesnt. Its messed up. If you cant survive on your own, you shouldnt be allowed to survive, period!

Every human life we 'save' from a certain death or disfunction, we are weakening the gene pool. Every fat person who survives to spread his seed, is ruining the human race. The genes of their inferior genetic makeup will be spread to their children, and their childrens children, and down the line, mixing with superior genes from their spouses and thus bringing down the superior genes into a shit-gene and passing that on.

The human race wont die from bombs or war, we will die from our caring for those who are inferior. Mercy is going to be the end of the human race. We are slowly killing ourselves everytime sum1 less than perfect is allowed to spread their seed.

If/when MDMA becomes legal for therapeutic uses, who will determine which patients will use it? The therapist or the patient? If it becomes Schedule II, there could be an influx of patients faking disorders, like PTSD, with the sole ambition to be administered MDMA. Albeit it wouldn't be in a very good setting, its still good, clean, MDMA.

SIGN ME UP!
lol

after taking the 125mg dose, i think it would be impossible to continue faking you're disorder..."i'm sooooooo sorrrrrrry dr. jane i just wanted to roll balls"....

even if you don't have a disorder like PTSD i think therapeutic use of mdma would be good for most people out there. anyone who has done good mdma in the right setting knows it can be extremely therapeutic and benefitial.

People with intelligence and good genetics I guess. Eugenics was phased out awhile ago, for the most part, however.

And all of this was part of the very core of the idologies of the Nazi party. Even the notion of "survival of the fittest" was "their" motto, and they promoted it in films and in Nazi pseudo-science. It must be terrible to have been born too late to just in the fun, huh? :|

Our species is somewhere around 80 thousand years old, and only when we have appearently decided to care for each other, that we begin flourish and produce the mega super-society that we have. Only when we have developed cooperation at unpresidented levels, are we finally able to begin listening for signs from other intelligence life in the universe. Or peer into the almost infinitely small constructs of a virus using the scanning electron microscope which our brains have devised.

Only when we have reached such a level of caring for each other, does the potential of our species finally become realized. After 80 thousand years of collective gene sharing, we reach the place we have, and all you have to say is that we are destroying ourselves??? You silly man, do you honestly think that we've always been where we are now, and that we are working backwards from that???

Let me speak plainly for a second. Evolution is NOT simply summed up by the phrase "survival of the fittest," it is a far more complex process than something that simple.

As lifeforms increase in their complexity, so do the abstractions involving their survival strategies. Still further, as a species reaches greater levels of sophistication, a collective organization involving collective survival emerges. That level of survival strategy is commonly found in insect life, do you have any idea how much farther human life has evolved and what level of abstraction that entails???

There are a lot of reasons our species have reached the level of sophistication that we have. Among our greatest achievements (or rather, evolution's achievement) is that we work cooperatively, and are able to identify and utilize abstractions as they are needed. Our strengths are not in our bodies, they are within our brains.

Given your notion of survival, some of the greatest minds that have ever lived woiuld have been eliminated before they could make the giant contributions to humanity which they have.

For example, how long would it have taken for our species to develop the basic laws of our physical universe, if Sir Issac Newton (bipolar disorder) had been "eliminated." Our species had already existed for at least 80 thousand years before one of us figured this out, and provided it in a way that it could be shared and known. And there is no guarantee that it would not have taken an additional 80 thousand years, if ever.

The reason that "we" have survived, and now stand as the single most dominant animal to have ever walked on this planet, is solely due to our ability and willingness to cooperate with each other. We have retained the "meta learning" (memories) passed on resulting from many generations of observation, and are made available to us through our unique language processing abilities.

Sphinx, any moron can iterate a stupid (mindless) phrase such as, "survival of the fittest." But it takes a disciplined understanding, to really see the subtle connections and complex interrelationships, that are required for evolution to produce a species such as ours. If it would have all been up to you, and your "motto", we would still be chasing ground creatures hoping to have a meal that evening, and picking bugs out of our hair during our leasure hours. :|

Could someone moderating this forum please split off all of these post (including Sphinx's inital post) into a new thread, and locate it somewhere outside of the thread on ecstasy therapy?

Not only is all of this totally off topic, but muddles the nature of the original thread.

Thanks

Right on. And as we now know, it is a mathematical fact that survival of the fittest, when applied to a population, can lead to altruistic behavior as a survival strategy!

But enough of that, the real issue, as I see it, is how poorly written this article is!

aw, i thought it was decent

nothing i didn't already know

but who writes articles for me?

i definitely think psychedelic-augmented psychotherapy would be a good idea (although psychedelics by themselves provide enough psychotherapy for my needs...but I haven't been molested or anything like that, whew)

"Invalid Usename" (lol) Great to have you back, and what excellent points you have made. I don;t think anyone could have articulated it better.

Nice job!

Hi Crazeee,

Thanks, and thank you for the Welcome, too. :)

I'm just dumbstruck sometimes, with all of the painful examples from our history, that people can still embrace such notions.

Earlier today, I thought of this man and the contributions which he has made to the world:

"Where do we come from? How did the universe begin? Why is the universe the way it is? How will it end?

"All my life, I have been fascinated by the big questions that face us, and have tried to find scientific answers to them. If, like me, you have looked at the stars, and tried to make sense of what you see, you too have started to wonder what makes the universe exist. The questions are clear, and deceptively simple. But the answers have always seemed well beyond our reach. Until now.

"The ideas which had grown over two thousand years of observation have had to be radically revised. In less than a hundred years, we have found a new way to think of ourselves. From sitting at the center of the universe, we now find ourselves orbiting an average-sized sun, which is just one of millions of stars in our own Milky Way galaxy. And our galaxy itself is just one of billions of galaxies, in a universe that is infinite and expanding. But this is far from the end of a long history of inquiry. Huge questions remain to be answered, before we can hope to have a complete picture of the universe we live in.

"I want you to share my excitement at the discoveries, past and present, which have revolutionized the way we think. From the Big Bang to black holes, from dark matter to a possible Big Crunch, our image of the universe today is full of strange sounding ideas, and remarkable truths. The story of how we arrived at this picture is the story of learning to understand what we see."

One of the greatest minds alive today, so great in fact that he will be a topic of discussion farther into the future then we have record of our past. Yet he is so profoundly disabled that he isn't even physically able to feed himself.

Yet if people like Sphinx had their way, this giant of a man who lives among us, would simply be snuffed out. Without any sense of remorse or forethought.

I often wonder who the great minds are who have been lost to us forever, as a result of their fates in the Nazi death camps. :(

OOPS! I just noticed. I guess I meant to suggest to move all of the off topic negative posts off somewhere and leave the ecstasy article here for the frontpage. *blush*
